Excellent question you should always ask before committing to a treatment. Rest assured you can browse our therapists qualifications in salon. We train and retrain throughout the year, we are an accredited training provider so we are confident we know our stuff. And its not just qualifications we have but years of experience treating many happy customers too!
We are here for you to solve any problems that you may have, our aim at Mantra is about your well-being and enjoying the perfect mantra experience. We train throughout the year improving each treatment so every treatment we do here is done the Mantra way better or different to any other salon.
You will be asked for your voucher on arrival for your treatment – if it has expired you will need to pay with other method of payment before your treatment starts. Vouchers are valid for 6 months we may offer you a Tuesday or Wednesday following the expiry date but this depends on how busy we are and what the availability is.
All treatments begin with a Mantra lifestyle consultation where we will talk about your personal treatment and any home care. There are so many treatments to choose from we will ask the right questions so you can get the most out of your visit.
We advise all our customers to pre book their appointments in advance to avoid any disappointment. Late nights and end of the week are popular and everyone always seems to want the same slot! We will do our best to accommodate you and will suggest you leave your name and number in case a last minute cancelation comes up. Appointments are booked and cancelled throughout the day, so its worth calling us to see what we can do.
We understand that circumstances may result in you having to cancel your appointment, we do ask, if possible to give at least 24 hours notice or contact us as soon as possible. Please be thoughtful of the customers who are on the cancelation list waiting for your appointment slot, this gives us time to contact them making them very happy indeed! Unfortunately if you are a serial offender we will ask for a small non-refundable deposit to secure your appointment slot.
Your therapist will do her best to perform your treatment within the time available, we will juggle any time we can so you get the best out of your visit. We would like you to arrive early so you can settle in and enjoy a hot chocolate or cappuccino, fill out any details we need and give you chance to start relaxing even before your treatment begins!
Vouchers are a very popular gift, and are always well received. They can be purchased in person or over the phone. We offer vouchers for any treatment or monetary amount for beauty, training, hairdressing services or homecare products.
We advise that you shower and exfoliate on the night or morning of your treatment to remove any dead skin cells to ensure a longer lasting tan. Apply no perfumed products, oil products or deodorant on the morning of your treatment. Let your therapist know if you have any dry patches on your body or if you have had any problems with other tans before; we can adapt our fool-proof technique for you.
St Tropez will never turn orange –our products are uniquely formulated to work with your natural skin tone so, as your tan develops it will only go as dark as your skin would naturally tan.Giving you that straight off the beach look.
The eye area is sensitive and an allergic reaction on the eye area can be severe. A patch test; at least 24 hours before any tinting procedure can prevent this. A small amount of tint is applied behind the ear. If any itching or redness occurs you will not be able to have a tinting treatment. Even if you have previously had tinting at other salons we will still carry out a patch test for the tint we use.
No, waxing will actually make the hair a finer consistency and less dense.
We take your well-being seriously from washing our hands, or medi-bac before and after each treatment, daily, weekly and deep clean cleaning rotas carried out by people specific to the job, good housekeeping, laundry services, use once throw away disposables, anti fungal, anti-viral, pre-cleanse, after cleanse, we’ve got it all covered, if you see anything you are unhappy with during your visit, please let us know – it will go to the top of the list
Of course, before buying any products we are always on hand to tell you what the product can do for you and how to use it at home. We will always ask the right questions so you know you will be using the right ones for you. If you are running out of your favourite products, we have a product waiting list so call or email what you need and we will order it and call you when it arrives.
